Storage Code of Gas Storage CZ was firstly published on January 1, 2005.

Storage Code went through several extensive modifications reflecting mainly changes of the relevant legislation, comments from storage users, experiences from operation of the underground gas storage and development of the gas storage market.

The Storage Code is fully in compliance with the Guidelines for Good Practice for Storage System Operators (issued by European Regulators’ Group for Electricity and Gas, March 23, 2005).

Latest version of Storage Code, approved by decision of Energy Regulatory Office, is effective as of November 25, 2024.
