We are the biggest underground gas storage operator in the Czech Republic
We operate a total of 6 underground gas storages on the virtual storage principle with the total working volume 2.7 bcm. This represents approximately a two-month gas consumption of the Czech Republic during the winter months. We are improving quality and qutantity parameters of storages so as to continuously comply with the requirements of all stakeholders.
We are member of these organisations and associations: Czech Gas Association (ČPS) and GSE Gas Storage Europe, which is covered by GIE Gas Infrastructure Europe.
The Board of Directors of ČEPS, a.s. approved the establishment of a corporate group (within the meaning of Section 79 of the Czech Business Corporations Act), within the ČEPS Group, as of July 1, 2026. The corporate group will consist of ČEPS, a.s. as the controlling entity, and Gas Storage CZ, a.s., ČEPS Invest, a.s., NET4GAS Holdings, s.r.o., NET4GAS, s.r.o., and BRAWA, a.s. as the controlled entities.
