Gas Storage CZ has reached a key milestone: gas storage facilities are 90% full

Gas Storage CZ reached a significant milestone on the weekend – its natural gas storage facilities are 90% full, representing 28.1 TWh. This means that the company has met the requirement of European legislation, which requires member states to ensure that their gas storage facilities are at least 90% full before the winter season.

Gas Storage CZ is managing to inject gas into its storage facilities at a faster rate than the European average, where the current stock level is around 80%. The storage process is continuing at a rate of approximately 0.25% per day.

The company is technically ready to fill its storage facilities up to 100% and, if necessary, start the withdrawal at any time.
