Guaranteed Reverse Capacity
Guaranteed reverse capacity service guarantees contractually to our customers the possibility to use the injection and withdrawal capacities in the direction opposite to that of the basic injection / withdrawal period.
The price for the service of the guaranteed reverse capacities consist of the fixed monthly price for the reservation of 1 MWh of the daily guaranteed reverse capacity and the performance component of the price for each 1 MWh of the used injection or withdrawal capacity.
The guaranteed reverse capacity service guarantees contractually to the present storage users the possibility to use the injection and withdrawal capacities in the direction opposite to that of the basic injection period (April – September) and basic withdrawal period (October – March). The guarantee applies to both nominations and renominations. In addition, for renominations, the change of direction is guaranteed in the same time as for renominations without change of direction (i.e. in 2 hours of the renomination becoming effective).
The shortest period for which the guaranteed reverse capacities can be ordered is one month, the longest equals the basic injection or withdrawal period, i.e. 6 months.
The service of guaranteed reverse capacities may be unavailable during Háje UGS shutdowns. The operator undertakes to inform the concerned storage users of this fact no later than 30 days before a shutdown commencement.

Offer of Guaranteed Reverse Capacity
Gas Storage CZ offers a separate guaranteed reverse injection rate of up to 10,000 MWh per day at a price of CZK 3 / MWh / day for the period from February 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026. The price is fixed for each order for interruptible injection rate during this period made on the basis of this offer, regardless of the actual nominations submitted. The minimum price for the offered period is CZK 200,000 excluding VAT, even if the total payments for individual orders are lower than this amount. If the ordered volume of guaranteed reverse injection rate is not used, the difference between the minimum price and the actual price will be invoiced as a separate lump sum payment. Gas days on which Gas Storage CZ restricts the use of the agreed injection capacity are not subject to a payment. Gas Storage CZ may limit the agreed injection rate only if it informs the Storage User thereof no later than 4 p.m. on the preceding gas day. The existing Storage User may use the agreed injection rate only on the account specified in the request for this offer.
